近日，一组陆军首批女飞行学员进行“新飞”集训的照片在网上引发广泛关注。

Pictures of one of the first batches of airwomen trained by the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Ground Force have recently gone viral and won the Chinese audience's hearts for its heroic outlook.

川北某机场，一枚红色信号弹缓缓划过天空，数架直升机排列整齐、平稳降落。飞行员的队伍中，陈恬畅和韩佳宁两名女飞行员显得格外显眼。

据西部战区，陈恬畅和韩佳宁是陆军培养的首批女飞行学员，今年6月从陆军航空兵学院毕业后，经过层层选拔考核，加入到第77集团军“英雄陆航旅”这个英雄团体。

In a statement issued by the PLA Western Theater Command on its official WeChat account on Thursday, the 77th Group Army welcomed to the team Han Jianing and Chen Tianchang, two freshly graduated female helicopter pilots.

陈恬畅和韩佳宁都与飞行有着不解之缘。陈恬畅的家就在机场旁边，从小就对蓝天无比向往。韩佳宁则是在了解到空军第八批女飞行员的事迹后，在心中种下了梦想的种子。

Both of the two airwomen have a story to tell with their dreams of becoming pilots. Living next to the airport, Chen yearned to be a pilot from an early age. Han planted the seeds of her dream after learning about the female pilots in the Air Force.

在飞行学院经过4年学习来到“英雄陆航旅”后，她们和所有新毕业飞行员一起接受了法规理论学习考核，还进行了多次座舱实习，不断夯实基础、提高飞行能力。

飞行教员王江林说：“目前两位女飞行员练习的还是基础课目，旨在打牢基础、找出短板，有针对性地查漏补缺、固强补弱，为进一步提升飞行技术和强化心理素质打下扎实基础。”

The instructor has revealed in a statement that Han and Chen are now taking basic classes to lay a solid foundation for "further improving their technology skills and strengthening psychological capacity."

据报道，女飞行学员选拔的条件极其严格，身高必须在165到185厘米之间；体重在标准体重的85%～120%之间；按空军“C”型视力表双眼裸眼视力0.8以上；无色盲、色弱；高考成绩必须高于本省一本分数线等。

Based on the recruitment conditions released by China's Ministry of National Defense, women must reach a height between 165 and 185 centimeters with 20/25 vision, plus a high score in the national university entrance examination, orgaokao.

在当年的高考中，韩佳宁取得661分（理工）的成绩，超过A批线100多分，被空军航空大学航空飞行与指挥专业录取，由此成为海南历史上首位高中毕业生女飞行学员。

Han achieved a score of 661 ingaokao, 100 points over the required level, becoming the first female high school graduate to attend the PLA training institute in Hainan.
